Shuren Ryu Martial Arts originated in 1998 as Shuren Ju-Jitsu Association, founded by four family members.
This has since evolved in to Shuren Ryu Ju-Jitsu and Shuren Ryu Kenpo Karate, meaning the club is now a mixed martial art group (“MMA group”).
The group now belongs to the Shuren Academy of Martial Arts, which is an independent non-profit making governing body in association with Kenpo Jutsu Alliance GB.
We pride ourselves on being a highly successful group, which offers its students and members quality instruction and excellent training facilities. Every member is valued and treated as an equal and by becoming a part of Shuren Ryu Martial Arts, you become part of a family.
